Amritsar Spiti Leh Srinagar Jeep Safari

After having a visit to glorious and sacred Golden Temple at Amritsar, this overland safari moves to the Little Tibet, Dharamsala and then to Kullu Valley. Leaving the normal itineraries, it avoids entering into Manali, rather prefers to explore Great Himalayan National Park and a climb to Jalori Pass which becomes the first mountain pass of this trail.

From there, the drive takes one down into the valley of Sutlej and further a climb to Kinnaur Valley through Kalpa and Nako which introduces the journey not only with the charm of Kinner Kailash ranges but the Buddhism as a strong religion in the Trans Himalayan Mountains.

The third area to explore is the Spiti Valley on this route, its barren mountains and thousands of years old monasteries. Kunzam La is the second pass which you cross and enter into the fourth region of Lahoul, another fertile Buddhist region sharing boundaries with Zanskar and Ladakh and the traditions as well.

From here the fifth region of moray plains begins after crossing third mountain pass Baralacha La. Now is the journey taking you to the second highest point of the world connected with road through three more high altitude passes like Lachalung La, Nakila Pass and Tanglang La and takes to Leh- the capital of Indus Valley.

The sixth region with seventh high altitude mountain pass is Kargil and the seventh region will be the most beautiful land on earth, Kashmir after Zozi La pass, the eighth mountain pass of the journey.
